upcoming show

striped this rare one this morning , it'a a 1966 7 litre {428 cu.in.} convertible. Steve Plunkett's show, http://www.fleetwoodcountrycruizein.com is coming up on June 2 & 3, if you can this is one of the best in southern Ontario. I hope to be there both days , usually in the tent just past the re-creation of Mel's diner.

6 new items posted in the "for sale" section and 6 sold & removed, was at the Megaspeed show in Toronto in March, show was an improvement with new owners, then did the London show for the first time , it was pretty good for a smaller show, then Ancaster flea market last Sunday. Next big show I'll be at is Steve Plunkett's the first weekend of June, a good one if you`ve never been, it`s worth the drive just to see his house & garage. fleetwoodcountrycruizein.com

finished Nose art #8 today,actually I guess it would be a "tail art"...colors were from an ME109 tail.....

...added a few new pieces to the "for sale" section... , and last week I took all my nose art pieces down to Tillsonburg airport. They will all be displayed together in the main hanger of the Harvard Aircraft Association. When they are all hung I'll get a picture to post

won "Best of Show" at this years Auburn,Cord,Duesenberg meet at Auburn, Indiana.

Pebble Beach Concours

Here's a Duesenberg I striped for RM at Chatham pictured on the showline at Pebble Beach Concours in California. It won 3rd in it's class {American Classic Open } which had 7 other Duesenbergs . The other Duesenberg I striped for them won "Best of Show" at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival in Indiana and I'm waiting to get a picture of it.

This is intresting. The car with the chrome headlights & radiator is a complete running car with the "winter" body. The other is the "summer" body , on a wooden frame with a tow bar, wood headlights and rad shell ,and no drivetrain. The rad shell is black walnut, and the headlights are birdseye maple. The pair were on display at Pebble Beach at the end of August. I also striped 2 {two}, yes 2 Duesenbergs, one for Pebble Beach & one for the Auburn Cord Duesenberg meet but still have to find pics of them.

...here's a couple of the things I've been busy with lately....
